MDI's On-Line Advantage Clinical Care Solutions software provides a total clinical solution for the Long-Term Care industry. This program is designed to effectively monitor and assess the medical situation of each of your residents. Complete integration with MDI's QuickAdmit/Marketing, e-Charting and Accounts Receivable software allows for single data-entry. This saves valuable time for your staff and ensures accurate data input and reporting.

MDS Processor

On-Line Advantage Clinical Care Solutions is a comprehensive system, designed to open communication between the clinical and billing departments for PPS purposes. The MDS program offers Error and Logic checks throughout the system. MDS submission files can even be imported and retained with those you create for a complete history of a resident's entire stay at your facility.

Clinical Care Solutions makes completing an MDS easier than ever with advanced features such as an on-line RAI manual which allows you to refer to the manual right from the MDS you're working on, a RUGS advisor to track RUGS status while your working on an MDS, and the ability to create a "crosswalk" from your own user-defined assessments to any question on the MDS for complete consistency of documentation. Plus, data collected through the e-Charting module is also immediately available for reference, right from the MDS.

Admission Checklist

The Admission Checklist feature allows you to create a customized checklist of user-defined assessments that should be completed upon admission of a resident, including a checkbox to indicate whether each has been completed. Responsibility for each assessment can then be assigned to specific personnel and monitored by managers for completion.

Resident-Specific Care Plans

The flexibility of the care plan program within the Clinical Care Solutions software allows for the building of quantitative and tailored care plans to meet each resident’s individual needs. Care plans can be created from the MDS, from previous care plans or from scratch. Measurable goals and individualized approaches keep your staff on track for monitoring resident improvement or decline.

Integrated Physician/Pharmacy Orders

Clinical Care Solutions includes a complete Physician/Pharmacy Orders function with a customizable medication library that allows nurses to maintain orders directly in the system. This provides accurate, up-to-date medication sheets and treatment sheets, plus it streamlines the monthly recap process. Used in conjuntion with the e-Charting module, new or revised orders are automatically provided to the eMAR (electronic med pass) system. Standard documents such as Physician Orders, MARs and Treatment Sheets can be printed on plain paper or pre-printed forms.
